How to Plan Indian Catering for Office Events

Office catering works best when you plan around headcount, dietary needs, and service timing. This checklist helps teams avoid over-ordering or running out too early.

1) Confirm headcount and dietary preferences

Get a realistic attendee count and ask for vegetarian, vegan, and allergy preferences at least 48 hours in advance.

2) Choose a balanced menu mix

Include starters, 2-3 mains, breads or rice, and one dessert. Keep spice levels moderate unless your team prefers hotter food.

3) Plan portions by event type

For lunch meetings, lighter portions may be enough. For evening events, increase main dish quantities and add one extra side.

4) Set delivery and setup buffer time

Plan for delivery 20-30 minutes before serving time. This keeps food hot and gives enough time for setup.

5) Keep follow-up simple

After the event, note which dishes performed best and update your next order faster.
